How to Get:
ITALY - GREECE
BY PLANE: AIRPORT 30 KM FROM LEFKADA PVK PREVEZA
A few kilometers off the island is Aktio/Preveza Airport. For those flying from Italy, depart from Bologna/Bergamo/Rome Airport with Ryanair. Or Volotea from Naples/Bari and Sicily. Alternatively, there are flights from Venice to Athens or from all European destinations. From there, you'll be 45 km from the houses, accessible by rental car or KTEL bus.
BY CAR OR PUBLIC TRANSPORT:
The island is easily reached by ferry companies departing from VENICE, ANCONA, BRINDISI, and BARI, arriving at the port of Igoumenitsa. From there, you'll be approximately 110 km from Stefania's houses, about 2 hours and 15 minutes.
IGOUMENISTA - LEFKADA
BY CAR:
Once in Igoumenitsa, released from the port, follow the signs to Preveza. Lefkada is connected to the mainland by a strip of land and mobile bridge float, then arrive on the island without having to take other ferries.
OTHER TRANSPORT:
Arrived to Igoumenitsa's port you can:
- rent a car;
- go to the bus station within walking distance, where there are 2 daily services direct to the island;
